My belly hasn't grown that much so I'm showing pictures

in 5 week increments so it looks bigger.  It is getting there

though.  Wesley is now 1.5 pounds and 8.5 inches long

and should double in the next 4 weeks. 

Wesley's Room - Preview

We've decided on colors for Wesley's room and this past weekend I made curtains and a crib skirt.  It was a lot of work but I think they turned out pretty cute.

Practice Round...

Travis and I got a little practice a couple weeks ago babysitting our nephews for the weekend.  Nathanial is 4 years old and Kellan is 4 months old.  We had so much fun playing with the dogs, riding bikes, and giving Kellan a bath.  We had a lot of fun but are glad we are only having one at a time!

It was a lot of work and I wish I would have known that Kellan was hungry all the time.  I think I starved the poor kid to death... Oh well, they survived and so did we!!



It's A...

Travis and I went to our 19 week ultra sound on Tuesday to find out the sex of the baby!  We decided that the way we wanted to tell everyone was to make cupcakes with pink/blue icing in the middle.  It was so exciting!!  Here are the pictures...

My Dad bought us some Utes onsies.  We are really excited to be having a sweet little boy!

We couldn't be more excited.  Travis is already stocking up on sports equipment and looking on KSL for a Nintendo!  We have also chosen a name for our little guy...  Wesley Kenneth after Travis's grandpa and my grandpa.  I am officially 20 weeks today, half way there!! 

18 Weeks

So I am officially 18 weeks and still don't have a big pregnant belly...



I think I pretty much just look fat.  Oh well!  After much convincing on my part we will be finding out the sex of the baby 1 week from tomorrow, Travis wanted to wait and be surprised in January.  I thought I could maybe do that until I realized that I couldn't plan anything (i.e. the nursery) and those who know me know I'm a planner!  I'm really hoping for a girl so that probably means it is a boy!  We are so excited and I don't know how we're going to make it through the next week. 

If Travis Hasn't Already Told You...

Yes, it is true we are officially pregnant!  The baby is due January 13, 2012.  We are really excited and cannot wait to meet this baby.  I am 12 1/2 weeks along and feeling a bit better now that I'm nearing the end of my first trimester.

I would love to post some cute baby bump pictures, but there are none... maybe someday I'll have a cute little baby bump!

We have been doing a lot of yard work lately!  I don't love the work but I love the final product!

The back yard has been quite a disaster!!  It was not level and full of rocks and weeds.  Our neighbor had a Bobcat for the weekend so Travis worked all weekend to get it as level and cleaned out as possible.  It is still not perfect but it looks 100 times better!
