My Favorite Thing.... NOT!!

We have been doing a lot of yard work lately!  I don't love the work but I love the final product!

Our Back Yard now...

The back yard has been quite a disaster!!  It was not level and full of rocks and weeds.  Our neighbor had a Bobcat for the weekend so Travis worked all weekend to get it as level and cleaned out as possible.  It is still not perfect but it looks 100 times better!

Hartford, CT - The Wedding

We drove to Hartford, CT, about 1 1/2 hours from Boston, on Thursday for the wedding on Saturday.  Thursday night Eric & Denise rented a bus and took us to a casino about 30 minuets away.  We had so much fun at the casino.  Again, I wish I had taken more pictures!!

Larry & Kelly.  They sat at our table, we really enjoyed them!

We had an awesome time at the wedding!  I'm hoping Suzie got some better pictures!

The Best Restaurant Ever... Panza

On Wednesday night Mike & Suzie Bridge and Travis and I went to Panza.  Travis and Mike went there the last time they were in Boston with Eric and Denise.  They have been talking about it ever sense.  Suzie and I were really excited to try it.  It is a small Italian restaurant in little Italy.  The food was so amazing!  The calamari was the best I have ever had!  I'm disappointed that I didn't take any pictures of our food.

Down the street from Panza is a pastry shop called Mike's Pastries.  They had all of the pastries you could imagine, and they were so yummy!

I wish I had more pictures!  It was one of my favorite nights in Boston!

Hangin Out In Boston

The next part of our trip was spent hanging out in Boston.  We stayed down town so we spent a lot of time walking around and seeing all the sites.  Lots of pictures...

This is a open-air restaurant called Sonsie.  I thought it was so cool and the food was really yummy too.   The restaurant was on Newburry Street, a fun place to shop and people watch!

This is a Boston Common, cool and Central Park like.

We also went to the famous Cheer's restaurant. This is not actually where the TV show was filmed but it was the inspiration for the TV show.

This is Benjamin Franklin's grave, and one of the many cemeteries we went to.

One of my favorite parts of Boston was the Harbor. It was so pretty! We also visited the USS Constitution. It was so cool!

Boston - Red Sox Game

We have been anxiously awaiting this trip for about a year!  Travis's best friend Eric's wedding was in Hartford, CT in May.  We decided to make a vacation out of it.  We started in Boston, MA the week before the wedding to see the famous Fenway Park.  It was a memorable game against the Chicago Cubs.

We had such a great time at the game.  The Red Sox won too!!
